Come rain or shine our junior writers continue to join us online each Thursday evening with their enthusiasm, camaraderie and fantastic imaginations in tow - whether tasked with writing about dragons, dreams, candles or the unpredictable British weather!
Below are two more fantastic poems from our recent 'Wild Weather' themed club, with thanks to Shree and Namay for sharing.
How the Weather Turns
By Shree
Swept off our feet
By a great blast of heat
Sunscreen lathered on my face
A splash of sun
Dazzling fun
How the weather turns
But in the midst
Of this feast of bliss
A shadow engulfs my own
As the clouds start to loom
The darkness begins to bloom
How the weather turns
Trees sway and dance
Raindrops prance
Umbrellas litter the street
As if caught in a spell
The weather forecast just cannot tell
How the weather turns
