Season Greetings

Season’s Greetings from SFOS – and thank you!

As we close out the year, The Stories From Our Streets project team would like to wish you a

Merry festive season.

We’re grateful to have shared a year with the community of BCP with great conversations with so many people in all sorts of places and spaces from BCP Libraries, to residential care homes, cliff tops and car parks through to festivals, castles, museums and more!

We have heard your accounts of life in Highcliffe in the Seventies, of 1950’s Bournemouth and

your favourite spot to sit in the sunshine with an ice cream in Southbourne. You have told us

about caring neighbours, friendly cats on the scrounge for food, about the community centres

that offer warmth and welcome and the people who embrace you with a warm hug.

The Stories From Our Streets team very much look forward to seeing how the next phase of the project evolves. We know this much: we will continue to find out what, or who, makes a

difference in your day, what the BCP community means to you and what makes the area - and its inhabitants - so special.

For now, thank you for your presence this year, whether online or in person.
