Our Table Read
It was our table read tonight! We ended the semester with a full house, and it was lovely to have all of our writers in one room for the finale. Ali handed out the scripts which she had written out over the past week, created from everyone's monologues in the session before as well as all of their work since the collages. Everyone did a bit of editing and fed back to Ali, who made some changes and had the new scripts printed off. This took most of our session so by the time that we had done a rehearsal read-through, it was time for the real thing!
With the addition of a few parents for an audience, our writers did their wonderful table read. It was a fantastic piece of work and a real pleasure to be a part of. It's been great to see the synergy between our writers and be reminded of the fantastic writing they can create - what a hight note to end on! See you all next term.
