Easter

This morning we took on Easter and all if it's bunny loving - chocolate filled fun.

We started the session off with a 'Fill in Fun'

This saw our beloved Easter Bunny take some strange twists and turns.

ooh I do love to fight fight fight  - Kieron's song for the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny as a healer of miscellaneous wounds - Eriflyi

The Easter Bunny and the longest squabble ever recorded - Sophie

The main event was an egg hunt for chocolate around the building! Once all the chocolate bunnies had been discovered, we had to write a poem before we could indulge

The poems (see below for some examples!)

The prompt for the poems was 'whilst walking through the woods I found an egg'

Some of the eggs in the poem were made of human skin - some of them dangerous, some of them too delicious to ignore.

After our poems, we did some more Easter-themed writing, and then we announced our Writers of the Week!

Young: Florence for her two Easter poems & her easter themed story where the main character was imprisoned for burying the Easter Hare

Junior: George for his beautiful poem about Easter Bunny

It was a wonderful way to finish off this term!

See you next time :)
