Clubhouse

Clubhouse

This morning we started the new term by talking and writing on the subject of Clubhouse’s

We began the session by sorting everyone into groups and started with the club’s name

Here are some examples:

The Bumblebee Club

The Itsy Bitsy Gang

The Mystery Club

The Gardening Club

The Snail Club

Each group had to think of these things when creating their clubhouse’s:

Rules - what will the rules be?

 Song - recognisable theme song

Password - how you get into the club

Aims - what your club aims to achieve

After we had accomplished the set up and design of our club houses we then got to writing an adventure style story introduction to what it would be like to enter into the clubhouse for the first time.

Writers of the Week:

Melody, Sisan, Sydney, Max - for the collaborative effort and creation of The Itsy Bitsy Gang.

Evie - for her perseverance and fantastic storytelling for The Gardening Club
