Easter Egg-cellence

We began today with some Easter themed fill in fun. The Easter bunny, our main character, met a series of sticky ends, including incidents with spaghetti (a loathed dish), big bad wolves, and granny-killing bees.

Then we went upstairs for a chocolate hunt! Ali had hidden a few Lindt bunnies with tiny messages attached to them: instructions to fill out a poem beginning with “while walking through the woods I found an egg…”

We had poems musing about how to get a mysterious egg to hatch, women who drank kegs of alcohol, and a main character being sent on a pointless, world-round treasure hunt by Greg the egg.

Then Ali asked for a story, starting with the line: “They told me never to follow the Easter bunny, but…”

Our writers gave us hallucinations of eggs disappearing as the main character was tortured with hunger, and eldritch horrors disguised as bunnies, but our writer of the week was Chloe who had her main character pull a zip in the Easter Bunny’s back to reveal he was a hairy Bob the Builder.

What a way to end the term - see you in April!
