Legendary Legends

Now our Brevity quest has ended, we march to more fantastic shores! Literally - fantasy was the name of the game today. A fill-in-fun sheet had mythical characters battling vegetable-based shenanigans, wielding illustrious teaspoons, and becoming magical sous chefs. 


Ali got our writers to come up with a list of fantasy-setting tropes, and then tasked them to use these tropes to write a story of their own. Each protagonist had a magical sidekick they needed to meet during the story: a dragon, a phoenix, a unicorn, or a mermaid.


Only a few of the writers got to the point where their characters met their sidekicks, but we were given a phoenix forming a bond with an orphan, talking rocks attempting to end YouTube forever, and genre-accurate landline phones.


With a few minutes left in the session, Ali had our writers pen a song to go along with the hero of their tale. These varied in silliness, as is often the case in the group.
