Netherwhere

This week, we started by writing from the perspective of an animal that lives (at least partly) underground - some beautiful and surprising, funny and emotional pieces developed, about pikas, gophers, pangolins and more!

Next, we read extracts from Neil Gaiman's 'Netherwhere' about a world beneath London. Inspired by this, the writers came up with their own short stories imagining what a world beneath their home town would be like - who would live there? Who would be in charge? Would it be a better/worse society than above ground? Could (and how could) people/creatures move between the worlds?

There were some amazing pieces of writing developing which we hope to share with you soon!
