VILLAINS

13 attending

To get started this week, we wrote a court case trial scene where a favourite villain was put on trial for their villainy! Here are some examples:

From Zoe:

Name: The Witch
Lawyer: Mr. Lawyer
Pleaded: Not
guilty
Date of 1st trial 93/03/40429

What
is your favorite Food? Tomato soup
Why do
you live in the woods?  It is my home
Why is
your house made from gingerbread? Because it is
How do
you get your food? Magic
What
cookbooks do you own? None

From Neelesh:

Thanos is accused for killing millions of people around the
world .
Thanos: I told you a hundred times I didn't do it!
Tony
Stark: Well, who else can it be except for you?

Thanos: Well …. I don't know.
Tony Stark: Admit it that it was you or
you would get a truth serum and if we find out that you were lying, the
punishment would be even more severe!
Thanos: Fine, it was me.
Tony Stark:
Fine, I have made a decision that you will get 100000 years in prison.
Thanos:
Wait, you lied to me!
Tony Stark: We know that he is guilty now so this means
that he will get life in prison!!!

From Gene:

This is unbelievable I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, The
judge is so boring to listen to, how long will his go on!!! It is totally
unfair, the fact I am here makes me crazy with fury, That ugly so and so
pleaded for not guilty. Then your man asked me if I killed the dogs I mean in
which dimension, I bring in the dogs for proof and then they asked the baroness
a question. “Did you kill Cruellas mum?!”he said in a monotone voice referring
to the conflict, “no” she said in a soft innocent voice denying it! Sooner than
later it all came out making her look like a fool, Now she is in prison I can
live my free life now, cool

Next, we wrote showdowns between superheroes and their supervillain nemesis, inspired by classic scenes like the Batman and Joker showdown and the Sherlock and Moriarty showdown on the rooftop.

From Neelesh:

" Well, well, well, finally I get to see you,'' the
villain sneered. Spider-Man was forced to come on a tall building next to the
London Eye because Green-Goblin had kidnapped Aunt May. " Just let her go,
then I will give you anything you want'' replied Spider-Man. " No, it
doesn't matter Peter, because I know who you are and after a minute the whole
world will!'' he yelled. " Both of them didn't talk for a minute which
turned out to be awkward however just then Green Goblin dropped Aunt May from
the building. Noooooooooooooooooooooo, cried Peter.  Will he be able to save Aunt may or won’t he?

" Ahhhhh, save me please Peter,'' Aunt May begged.
" Don't worry, I'm coming, don't panic.'' Peter replied." What do you
mean don't panic??'' she questioned. "Not so fast Peter.'' said Green
Goblin.  Peter was able to get past him
and was able to save her aunt but just then there was a blast... TO BE

From Leo:

“Hallo,” it came out of the shadows like a spider from under
a chair.
“I see you got my message,” the detective said.
“Your message, haha n’n’n’n’no. It seems to me as if you
think you’re the one who’s organised it, Oh wait, you do.”
“It’s over Mavolus, we’ve come to arres-”
“To arrest me?” he said with mock incredulity, “We both know
you say that every time, and yet, I do not seem to be writhing in shackles nor
am I at your mercy,”
“None of your tricks will work today, Malevolus, because
we’ve come prepared,”
Something like a smirk emerged from the shadows, “Prepared?
Well that's certainly a first, isn’t it, detective? You cannot arrest me, you
say that that’s why you’re here, but is it? Afterall, if you have come
somewhere on the pretext of doing a specific task, yet you cannot accomplish
that task in reasonable time, then have you really gone there to do that thing?
Or was it just to be there, can you answer me back, detective?”
“It's not a game, just a question. If you cannot answer a
question like that, I really fail to see why the Council of Elders chose you to
arrest me. There are so many more talented young people out there who would
benefit much more from having the bullet point ‘Stopped evil villain from
taking over the world.’ on their résumé. Maybe they know that you will fail,
that you will die, a horrific and painful death too, which I am looking forward
to very much. Perhaps they just want to know how powerful I really am, and oh
boy will they learn.”

From Charlotte:

Ext: Blue top Mountain, Greenland. Early evening

Mossy mountain with a bit of snow as it is cold.

Far away shot: Gerrad walks up the mountain. In a long navy blue coat. Green flashlight lights the ground in front of him.

Stops halfway, looks up mountain and then continues.

Camera pans up to see a silhouette at the top of the mountain.

Cut to:

Top of Blue Mountain

Sara waits at the edge of the mountain side. She is alone in her signature red overcoat. Her eyes are closed and she plays with a card in her fingers.

Camera pans round:

Gerrad makes it to the top of the mountain. He turns off the light.

Gerrad: Top of a mountain? Subtle.

Sara: Well you know me. I like the outside.

Gerrad: Mmmm and heights.

Sara: What? Not scared are you?

Gerrad doesn’t answer.

Sara: You seriously think that you’re going to win this?! Hah.

Gerrad: I have more chances than you do. I have luck on my side, you only have those men you call ‘helpers’.

Sara: Cards.

Gerrad: I’m sorry.

Sara: They’re called cards and you don’t exactly have the manpower to beat me. Admit it, you’re finished.

Sara starts to move around Gerrad. She then places the card in his right hand. Gerrad looks at it.

Gerrad: The knave of hearts?

Sara: Mean anything to you? Hearts? Knaves?

Gerrad freezes.

Sara: Struck a chord there haven’t I? The knave of hearts describes you down to a t.

Gerrad gulps, rolling the card up into a ball in his hand.

Gerrad: Ancient history.

Sara: You’re heroes don’t know then?

Gerrad: They don’t need to.

Sara: Oh Gerrad. (Tuts) This mountain describes this whole thing perfectly. That’s the reason I brought you up here really. I mean here we are, perched on the edge of an oblivion, and still we find peace.

Gerrad: I….

Sara: Don’t. You see the peace is only here if you see it. If you don’t you see endless bare land. Well apart from the odd patches of snow. Funny thing, snow. So cold but yet so dangerous.

Gerrad stares down the edge. He pushes his shoulders back trying not to think about it.

Sara: You’re heroes don’t stand a chance. Ice powers in a world full of light. Not to mention the tree powers.

Gerrad: Get to the point.

Sara: I have. Well I mean I've already done that. That clue you found at the last crime scene.

Gerrad: What about it?

Sara: You really think it was me don’t you?

Gerrad: That’s a theory we have.

Sara: You might have to rethink that. Now must dash. Places to be. Ice to melt.

Gerrad: Wait…

Gerrad turns to face Sara but she’s gone. It’s like she’s disappeared into thin air. Gerrad looked at the card and then threw it down the mountain.
