RETURN TO WONDERLAND...

11 attending

This week, we were looking at the Alice in Wonderland writing competition again - https://lewiscarrollsociety.org.uk/writing-competition/ - before the deadline on 3rd July. Inspired by the Mayflower Young Writers' Alice in Wonderland workshop, we were looking at the flamingo and hedgehog croquet game in Alice in Wonderland, as inspiration to come up with our own wonderland twists on classic games!

We then looked at the trial scene in Alice in Wonderland and came up with our own wonderland-style court case - choosing something ridiculous which someone could be arrested for in Wonderland, who would be the judge/jury, what the courtroom would look like, and what the punishment might be, being as ridiculous as possible!

We hope lots of our young writers will be submitting their writing to this competition!
