Postcards!

It was all hands on deck this morning! We were a group of two halves: some of our writers were preparing for their performance at the community showcase tomorrow, whilst others were using their time to write a postcard to their favourite characters.

People wrote postcards to Harry Potter, Dogman, and Robin Hood, while others practiced their rhyming rows.

For the older group:

A postcard to Pennywise, informing him about current politics and requesting a political assassination.

A postcard to Lenny from Of Mice And Men, warning him “do not touch her hair!” Alas, this came too late.

A postcard to Bilbo Baggins, lauding his victory over Gollum (plus consent to burn the postcard due to tangents).

We finished by playing a couple of rounds of Word & Question (Ali gave us a Question and we had to use the Word within the answer).

We hope to see you at Sunday’s showcase! It’s sure to be spectacular!
