Opening Doors

What's it all about?

Opening Doors is a 2-year multi-strand pan-Dorset literature development project working with children and young people, marginalised women, people in recovery from drug and alcohol use, schools, and wider community engagement.

This project will pilot new strands of engagement to support sector growth, including support for areas of deprivation. Engagement will include workshops and sharing events, as well as devising new material for 'LifeJacket' a podcast for written and spoken word.

Project partners include Lighthouse Poole, BCP Council, Bournemouth Writing Festival, Grace the Space, Literature Works, and Amazon Literary Partnership. This project is supported with public funding from Arts Council England.
