Kym joined Artfulscribe as part of the ‘Plot Lines’ project working as an assistant facilitator creating collage poetry with care home residents in Waterlooville last year. With a background working in care for charitable organisations she specialises in working creatively with people with dementia and their carers.

Kym started running ‘Creative Connections’ workshops in 2022 with the aim of sharing her love of poetry and exploring the many therapeutic benefits of writing and reading poetry in Care Homes and community groups.

She was excited to have the opportunity to work with a different generation of creatives supporting Lottie as assistant facilitator of Artfulscribe’s Junior Writers Online Club.


When away from her desk Kym loves doodling and spending time outdoors exploring woodlands and meadows with her Jack Russell Maya.
