Aiysha Jahan is a TCK who grew up in Dubai and has lived and worked around the world. She enjoys travelling most of all and writes short stories and flash that explore identity and belonging. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing and has been published in Bengal Lights, Critical Muslim, Unstamatic and elsewhere. Aiysha has taught Creative Writing at the University of Southampton and taught English at schools and colleges. She aims to bring together her love of teaching and writing through different projects that develop young writers in the community.
