Mayflower Young Writers - 7-10s & 11-14s

08 February 2025

9.30am-1:00PM, MAST Mayflower Studios, Southampton

Do you like writing? Would you like to work with a professional writer and find out more about different genres and techniques?

Come and get involved with ArtfulScribe’s regular Young Writers group that will help you develop skills, confidence and experience. Explore creative writing through practical exercises and workshops on topics like characterisation, dialogue, setting and plot. You will work across genres including non-fiction, fiction, poetry and script-writing.

Weekly sessions will take place on Saturday mornings during term times. All sessions will take place at MAST Mayflower Studios.

Junior Writers - Ages 7-10 (Academic Years 3-6) - 09:30 - 11:00 - https://bit.ly/4iqaaGJ
Young Writers - Ages 11-14 (Academic Years 7-9) - 11:30 - 13:00 - https://bit.ly/4gznaYR

These sessions are free but we are looking for commitment. All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.

There will be opportunities to watch performances at MAST Mayflower Studios or Mayflower Theatre as part of this programme. Opportunities are likely to be once per term, depending on show availability, and tickets may be free or available at a small fee. You will also receive exclusive offers through email for taking part in the group.
