Mayflower Junior & Young Writers

11 May 2024

9:30 - 11:00AM | 11:30 - 1:00PM

Do you like writing? Would you like to work with a professional writer?

ArtfulScribe and Mayflower Engage are inviting young people to get involved with a regular creative writing group that will help develop skills, encouraging young writers to share work and receive feedback in a respectful way that empowers voices. Meet new like-minded people and have lots of fun along the way.

Participants will explore creative writing through practical exercise's and workshops on topics like characterisation, dialogue, setting and plot. Writers will work across genres including non-fiction, fiction, poetry and script-writing.

Weekly sessions will take place on Saturday mornings during term times. All sessions will take place at MAST Mayflower Studios.
