An online Creative Writing group for men and those who identify as male.
What does it mean to be a man in the 21st Century? What can we learn about ourselves and other people? What can we offer each other by sharing ideas, exploring contemporary and historical writers, and creating new work in response to our discoveries?
This pilot series of workshops will hold a space for open-minded men, and those who identify as male, in the spirit of brothership and support. Its purpose is to enrich lives and build confidence in self-expression with a sensitivity towards the politics of masculinity.
This booking is for 6 sessions. The total price is £60 for those who can afford their admission cost and are willing and able to support other writers, £30 for a General Admission (which is a subsidised rate) or Pay What You Can Afford - for those on tighter budgets. If you'd rather not commit to a whole course, there's also an option to book individual sessions and to pay a percentage cost. We'd suggest 10/5/PWYCA per session. We'd rather you commit for the block, but understand if that's not possible. Session dates 10/17/24 Feb and 3/10/17 March 7-9pm.
This group is a counterpart to ArtfulScribe's SO:Write Women, where a supportive place is offered to women writers and those who identify as female.
Do get in touch if you're looking for a particular group or creative writing service that isn't met by ArtfulScribe and we'll do our best to help or to point you in the right direction.
