Women's Writing

A space to meet, share and create new work in a supportive environment that celebrates all contributions

SO:Write Women meet on the the first Thursday of each month at The Art House in Southampton from 11am-1pm and on third Saturday of each month at Southampton Central library. Led by Bath Novel of the Year award winner, Joanna Barnard, these sessions provide an inspirational point for new writing, featuring exercises that develop creative skills and raise confidence for participants. This blog is a record of those sessions as a reminder for those who take part, and as an access point for people who might not be able to make a session in person.
